I have been a registered Democrat since I was first old enough to vote, and I have never regretted it. From what I have been reading about the Republican Party here, of late, they are in more trouble than we are. They have lost their way--their sense of what Americans need, and in this late state of our American democracy, they have lost their common sense — and their moral center of gravity. They have been instrumental in the decline of our American politics and our way of life, so whatever happens to them is probably what they deserve.
I just hope the American People will not lose all hope--especially our disillusioned Republican constituency. We need to hold onto our American hopes and dreams, and we need to shed the corruption that has become the center of our politically partisan way of life. We need a new president, and at least a few new Congressional representatives, so that we can rebuild our faith in our American government.
We need to "Ditch Mitch" McConnell first and foremost. He lost his way years ago, and does not know what a democracy is for, or about. And his buddy Donald Trump is more ignorant, and more self-centered, than he is!
