I love to express my thoughts in the Medium forum--I'm a writer, I can't help it--but even with my graduate degree in Adult Education, and my BS in Human Resource Management (and even my A.A. in Public Relations Journalism--which is where my writing expertise (such as it is) derives from) I doubt seriously that I could provide a "cure-all" strategy for curing the world of the Covid-19 virus.
However, I can share my speculation on the reason we have this dreadful, life-threatening disease. First, from my readings on this topic, I learned that the world has suffered from pandemic plagues off-and-on over the course of human history. Because the planet is filled with lifeforms, and because the nature of life forms is to survive by any means, and to consume other life to survive, that trait starts at the cellular level, and goes on up the whole food chain.
I'm sure our scientists and medical professionals are breaking their backs (and getting migraines) trying to solve this problem. But since all things live by virtue of consumption of something or other, and since all things die when the food supply dwindles, I think one good method of putting an end to the Corona Virus is to starve it to death. I'm not sure what it eats (unless it eats US, which is certainly possible), but there must be some way to taint the food supply. Of course, that's what medication is all about, isn't it?
And then, of course, we have to take into account that tainting human cells (or whatever it is about US that the corona virus eats) is a potentially hazardous method of putting an end to this disease. (I'm no scientist--so I'll stop speculating at this point....or as my grandmother used to say, I won't attempt to "teach my grandmother how to suck eggs".) Sigh....
