Number One, Ms. Elizabeth, Joe Biden is extending his hand in an attempt to find mutually agreeable terms that can be negotiated -- a hand of friendship that Republicans can meet with their own, if they can be reasonable -- so that America can find our way past the terrible Divide of our silly Partisan Walls. "A house divided cannot stand!" Ms. Elizabeth. Joe wants to be a champion of reconciliation, not a warrior looking for aliens to clobber and smear on the Great Wall between our ethnic, social, and genetic differences. Give Peace a Chance, Ms. Elizabeth... it's a great song, and a great chant, and a worthy goal!
